When you wear a blanket

Sometimes, when a summer in England feels like a winter and you finish your second pot of tea and are about to head outside and a frisky breeze hits you in the face as soon as you open the door, then the only sensible solution is to slip in your blanket parka.

Then suddenly walking in a drizzle feels like browsing around your bedroom in comfy pyjamas. That’s how I felt the other day when I put on my favourite red parka and headed shopping to town.
