There is nothing that can top a day at the beach. Maybe a day at the beach with a well stocked ice cream van nearby! One stracciatella please! Formby beach is definitely my favourite beach in the UK. It’s got the soft sand dunes, the forest paths, the sweet dogs of all shapes and sizes taking their masters for a walk (not the other way). And sometimes it even has a sunshine. Like the day when we got there. It was a hot August afternoon and Formby beach showed us its most beautiful side. I selfishly handed sandals to my beau and ran towards the waves.
